Overview

Keeping medicine records meant hours of the same typing every day. Now the system fills them in from the pharmacy's own history, and staff only deal with the unusual cases.

The problem

Staff spent hours every day typing medicine records by hand, entering the same product details again and again. Each entry was one more chance to put a wrong number into a record that has to be right.

What we built

A till that fills in medicine records from past entries. The software handles the repetition, and staff handle the exceptions and the decisions, the part that really needs a person.

Results

• Two to three hours of typing saved every day, more than 60 hours a month
• More than 90% fewer entry errors
• Medicine records filled in from the pharmacy's own history
