Overview

A private school group kept enrolments, fees, attendance and shop sales in separate books and spreadsheets. SchoolOS brings it all together, on the computers the staff already use.

The problem

Student files, fees, attendance and the shop till were each kept somewhere different. Answering a simple question, like which families still owed fees, meant checking several books by hand. Attendance was only as up to date as the last person who copied it out.

What we built

One system for students, teachers, fees, attendance, finances and the shop till. It installs on the school's computers and keeps its data there, so it carries on working when the internet drops. On a campus where the connection can't be relied on, that matters.

Results

• Two to three hours of admin saved every day, more than 60 hours a month
• More than 90% fewer errors in fees and attendance
• Runs without internet on the school's own computers
